Expert Provides Insights and Offers Technical Solution – Challenges Men to Block Porn

Expert Provides Insights and Offers Technical Solution – Challenges Men to Block Porn

Imaging technology specialist and pornography expert, Richard Maring, to appear on Internet radio network My Expert Solution.

Grand Rapids MI – November 12, 2008.  Imaging technology specialist and pornography expert, Richard Maring, will be interviewed on November 18, 2008 2:00 PM Mountain Time by Internet Radio Network My Expert Solution.

“The statistics are beyond belief.  Children’s first exposure to porn on the Internet is happening at between 8-10 years of age.  Over 59 million pornographic pages containing the words ‘free’ and ‘porn’ were added to Google’s index in the past year alone, said Maring.  This content estimated at well over 4 billion images and countless movies, for which free 30-60 second trailers are available, makes up the vast majority of Internet Porn.  This is the content that permeates the Internet.”

Maring dove into the issue over Internet Pornography four and half years ago after his niece was exposed to hard core pornography through the Internet Service Provider he owned.  He discovered Internet Pornography was an issue of gigantic proportions, and standard internet filters did not guarantee protection against pornography.  Maring, who holds two patents in imaging technology, was challenged by a friend to do something about the issue of Internet Pornography.  Maring accepted the challenge and three and half-years later released patent pending technology SeeNoEvil.

Today, SeeNoEvil helps thousands of families and individuals to protect themselves from the dangers of the Internet.  Maring is invited to churches and conferences across the nation to bring to light this issue often kept in the dark and offer hope for a solution to the problem of pornography.

Fireproof

October 7, 2008 · Leave a Comment

From a close friend of the SeeNoEvil family…

I went to the mall tonight for some good family bonding time. We ate at the food court and viewed a movie I hadn’t heard anything about except a short review on the radio. It is called Fireproof, starring Kirk Cameron. I thought from the reviews I found online that it would be a good family story-line.  It was not a family story-line, but a relationship story. It was a very good Christian movie, moved many people. My kids all thought it was a great movie, and appreciated that we went. We were the only family in the theater. Most of the rest were women or couples.

The reason I’m writing is because one of the issues the star was dealing with (Kirk Cameron), was online pornography! It was a great stumbling block in their marriage. The way he dealt with this in the movie was to take the computer out and smash it with his baseball bat.

While talking to a guy outside the theater who had brought his adult Sunday school class, he said that Kirk was on either the Today Show or Good Morning America two days last week discussing the movie and the message he wanted to portray to the audience. In his comments, he mentioned that the first girl he ever kissed was his co-star on Family Ties who ended up being his wife. He has never kissed another woman, has vowed to not kiss another woman even while acting. In this movie, the producers flew his wife in for the one kissing scene.

I thought you’d like to hear this little bit of trivia and information about the movie…..enjoy your weekend!  p.s.  The family bonding was better than anticipated. Our teens are growing and maturing daily, and we are grateful they are open and receptive to God’s Word and leading

SeeNoEvil Applauds Dochovny

September 3, 2008 · Leave a Comment

Since David Duchovny checked himself into treatment for his pornography addiction last week, his name continues to one of google’s most popular searched terms.  In fact, it seems to us as SeeNoEvil, that his seeking treatment for sexual addiction is making more news than the much anticipated and successful release of The X Files movie this last July.

The question is why?  The answer, however, is not so simple.

Perhaps it is because many people do not realize that pornography is an addictive “substance” that can disrupt lives, tear apart marriages, and end careers.  SeeNoEvil has heard from more than one parent whose child came to them absolutely frightened because they came across pornography on the Internet.  However, much to these parents surprise, they have found that their child has searched for pornography a week or two after the incident.  Why?  Because viewing pornography releases a powerful chemical in the brain that causes a mix of excitement (and fear for prepubescent children).  It is hard to not come back for more after such a powerful chemical reaction within the body.

Perhaps it could be also be explained because of people on the other end of the spectrum.   People who know and realize that pornography is an addiction.  An “elephant in the room” that has affected their, or someone they love, spiritual, emotional, and physical well being.

Whatever the case may be, SeeNoEvil applauds Dochovny for taking the first step in getting back control of his life.  We wish him the best, and only hope that his courage inspires others to do the same.

Let’s us take back control of the Internet, reclaim the lives of those who have lost their spirit to Internet addiction, and therefore make the world more human and more fraternal.
