Social Networking Gone Wrong

September 23, 2008 · Leave a Comment

The news is out

Your daughter’s college application includes three outstanding letters of recommendation, an above average GPA, and ranks her in the top five percent of her graduating class.  According to her application, she is the model student.  Surly someone any college would want to represent their school.

However, the admissions committee knows about her recent night of illegal activities and her recent very sticky break-up with her boyfriend.  It’s all over her MySpace.

There are numerous cases of social newtworking gone wrong.  Talk to your teen today about the longterm consequences  of things posted on the web.  Help them to make their social networking site work for them, not against them.
