Virtual World Popular Among Teens -SeeNoEvil Monitors

July 17, 2008 · Leave a Comment

SeeNoEvil was recently made aware that many in our SeeNoEvil community are using our product to monitor their teens’ Second Life activity.

Second Life,a popular virtual community among teenagers, allows teens to create a “second life” through a virtual community where they can own land and operate a business.  Second Life Teen is for teenagers (age 13-17)and prohibits strong language, graphic violence, and nudity.  The original Second Life is for those 18 and older (it took SeeNoEvil no less than 5 minutes on the site to realize it was intended for adults only).

Many parents recognize the potential dangers when allowing their teens to chat and “live” on a “virtual community” and have activated SeeNoEvil’s parental controls to monitor their teen’s Second Life Account to monitor who they are communicating with within the virtual community.  Others have used SeeNoEvil to prohibit the use of Second Life Teen on their computer.

SeeNoEvil is proud to offer you the tools to take control of the Internet and safeguard your teen based on the desecions you feel are best.  With SeeNoEvil, you gain control over the Internet, protecting your children from the dangers on the World Wide Web.
